Managing Director / Founder

With over three decades of entrepreneurial experience and a keen visionary outlook, Mr. Potter is the driving force behind Potter & Co., where he serves as both the Managing Director and Founder. His multifaceted expertise encompasses business management, crisis management, and investigative prowess, honed during his tenure under the tutelage of Supervisory Special Agent Robert Miller for nearly eight years.

Trained as a Special Agent, Mr. Potter not only orchestrates all field office operations but also oversees the security protocols safeguarding Potter & Co.'s network of offices and personnel, ensuring impervious protection against cyber threats. His strategic acumen and innovative thinking play pivotal roles in shaping the long-term trajectory of Potter & Co., with a primary focus on client retention, case supervision, and international expansion.

Beyond his business and investigative endeavors, Mr. Potter is also a published author, having penned two influential works. "Hard Targets" is a seminal academic text utilized at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, delving into the intricacies of human and technical surveillance. Additionally, "IKIGAI - Finding Purpose in Recovery" explores a persons purpose in life once addiction has been overcome and the journey to recovery, reflecting Mr. Potter's commitment to substance abuse counseling and prevention.

A distinguished alumnus of the University of New Mexico, Mr. Potter holds three degrees in pyschology, business administration and criminology. His pursuit of knowledge led him to further academic achievements, culminating in an MBA and Juris Doctorate from Xavier University in 2007. Additionally, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Interviewer, and an esteemed member of professional organizations such as, CIT International, National Alliance on Mental Illness, the American Society of Criminology and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Potter's dedication to excellence extends to his continuous professional development, evidenced by his certifications in various domains, including Anti-Bribery and Foreign Corruption Practices Act compliance and IP crime investigation, accredited by INTERPOL. Notably, he is a Certified Information Security Manager, a prestigious credential bestowed upon IT professionals tasked with overseeing information security systems on an enterprise scale.
